A tea-seller becoming Prime Minister.
From Indian loss in T-20 final,
To Bollywood flicks so banal.

The woeful outbreak of Ebola,
and the inspirational nobel for Malala.
The blitzkrieg in the FIFA cup,
And the sensex taking hiccup.

Israel-Palestine struck by grief,
Our neighbor got PM Sharif.
Islam in Europe got a boost,
Though in India, saffron ruled the roost.

J&K elections saw terrorism fail,
As Telengana finally prevail.
The economic and geographic dividend,
Altering the nature of Sino-Indian trend.

India creating history with Mangalyaan,
PM launching Swacch Bharat Abhiyaan.
Crude oil prices taking a plunge,
And the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge.

E-commerce industry going profound,
And Congress needing to cover the lost ground.
2014 witnessed and Indian Nobel,
The Make-in India becoming global.

The magnificent plains, to pristine beaches and flawless highlands. My recent excursion to the Asian melting pot was an exquisite experience.


Malaysia is indeed a place to visit if you want to taste the true Asian flavor. The multi-ethnic culture, the vast cuisine, the hospitality, all mesmerized me to the fullest.
